Earlier session-day working notes (4 May 2026) flagged MDG as
"no public footprint" and IT Del as "remote in Sumatra,
~1500km away." Both readings were wrong.

Canonical Bali pilot org structure:
- MDG = Fab Lab Bali, legally. Meaningful Design Group is the
legal entity behind Fab Lab Bali. One operational unit, two
names. Treat as a single partner; MDG is the contractual
identity, Fab Lab Bali the public-facing brand.
- CAST Foundation = coordinator + administrator. Not the executor.
Member of Bali Net Zero Emission Coalition.
- IT Del has a Bali office, led by Ben Koo. Local technical
presence, not remote. Sumatra campus runs LPPM + AI Center of
Excellence (Rosni Lumbantoruan) — one of Indonesia's most
powerful local AI infrastructures, available as compute backbone.
- Ben Koo is the lead author of PKC (Koo, Aliana & Corley 2023,
IEEE) — the sovereignty-by-architecture prior cited in
PLANETAI canonical references.
Hydrogen Village (Serangan) governance is the operational pattern
for PLANETAI Bali: CAST coordinates / administers, MDG +
Fab Lab Bali execute, IT Del Bali (Ben Koo) runs technical AI /
data layer with Sumatra as compute backbone.
Reasoning
MDG appears thin in public web search because its public-facing
brand is Fab Lab Bali, not MDG. IT Del's Bali presence and
Indonesian AI infrastructure don't surface in English-language
search because they aren't the kind of thing a Sumatra-based
university campus advertises. The earlier critique was a search
artefact, not a real visibility gap. Logging the correction
prevents the misread from re-entering future partner-facing
materials.
